Christmas Gift Ideas #6

December 12th, 2014 Leave a comment Go to comments

We just released our latest Christmas gift ideas newsletter:

This is the final one of our fortnightly Christmas gift ideas series newsletters (it`s less than 10 working days to Christmas!). Items ordered for Christmas should now be going by Xpress post items for overseas will no longer get there for Christmas except by courier.

There have been a lot of people using the online ordering this Christmas and so I just wanted to thank you for your patronage.

So with it being the 11th hour and if you just can`t decide what to get for someone, or don`t know their size, then the About Canada gift card is a great idea. The card can be used online, or in store, and can be any value that you choose.

The second idea, for him or her, are the letter openers from BC artist Kaye Miller minature woods. These letter openers are lovely looking, functional, hand made gifts.

Another line that is particularly popular at this time of year are the hand made porcelain ornaments from BC artist Lynne Moore. Made in her kiln at home these are the product of a real Canadian cottage industry..

Another very popular range of Canadian made work is from First Nation artist Bill Finn. Bill is in his late 70`s and still loves producing these lovely detailed engraved pieces. The each come with the meaning of the totem for example, in brief, the wolf is loyal to those they love.

The prints of BC artist Peter Wyse are proving very popular this year. I think they make a nice stocking filler.

I have been rounding of with a larger piece idea. However it is now a bit late to get the larger pieces out for Christmas delivery. So instead I will end by giving (in no particular order) my six top picks of this gift idea series.

So that brings this newsletter, and this series, to a close, I hope you enjoyed the ideas.

As you won`t be hearing from me again before Christmas I would just like to take this opportunity to wish you, and your loved ones, a lovely time over the holiday season.

If you have any questions or if there is anything that you would like to see us cover, just let me know.
